Als de eerste sneeuw is gevallen, verandert de Harz in een grandioos winter wonderland. Het is misschien niet de Alpen, maar het bied gewoon alles wat u verwacht van een wintervakantie. De hellingen zijn goed onderhouden en heel betaalbaar. Het landschap is voorzien van wel 500 kilometer Langlauf routes, alles is heel duidelijk aangegeven en onderweg zijn er genoeg plaatsen waar u een welverdiende pauze kan nemen! |
| De ski pisten in de Harz zijn ideaal voor beginners en gevorderden. Er zijn funparken voor de snowboarders, slee-routes, bob sleeden, en genoeg plaatsen om te skien en Langlaufen. De meeste pistes zijn 's avonds verlicht en in bijvoorbeeld Braunlage zijn Langlauf routes 's avonds verlicht zodat u lekker lang door kunt gaan. |

De grootste skigebieden zijn in Sankt Andreasberg, Braunlage en Schierke. Het Nationale Park Harz doet het onderhoud aan de routes tussen de Brocken en Torfhaus. U kunt eigenlijk in alle grote skiresorts ski's huren, dus alles van huis meeslepen hoeft niet! |
