The Hasseröder brewery was founded in 1872 in the district Hasserode, Wernigerode, and today is now one of the most modern breweries in Europe. Years of experience, exquisite materials and soft water from the Harz helps to make the beer what it is today: a premium beer. In 2010 Hasseröder was an official beer of the FIFA World Cup. For those who want to look behind the scenes of one of the most modern breweries in Europe it offers regular of tours of the brewery. The tour lasts approximately two and half hours.
