The Stave Church
The Stave Church was built in 1907/08 and modelled on Norwegian Stave churches. This Stave church is completely built from wood taken around the Harz.

Bike Park Hahnenklee
The Mountain cable car brings you and your bike to the mountain - on which track you down, come together to decide for yourself, the park consists of 7 tracks. The routes are designed from beginners to experts. The following route options can be found in the bike park:
Downhill 1100
Freeride 1250m
Single trail hard / medium 500m
Single trail medium / easy 1250m
North Shore 500m
4X or Biker Cross 150m
All equipment can be hired including helmets and protectors

Liebesbankweg
One of Germany's most beautiful hiking trails, idyllically situated in the Upper Harz. Hahnenklee leads to the approximately 7-km-long route up to the Bocksberg, on Auerhahn, past the Upper Harz Water bay and through the meadow Ortsteil back to your starting point. The unique characteristic of this circuit are the 25 romantic, lovingly designed love seats.
Please note that the Liebesbankweg during the winter time is not cleared.
