Kaiserpfalz Imperial Palace
The Imperial Palace, built between 1040 - 1050, more than 200 years of German and European history was made here. In the late 19th century both the Palace and the Chapel were renovated and the interior of the Palace upper hall was decorated with monumental murals by H. Wislicenus.

World Hertiage Rammelsberg Mining Musuem
Rammelsberg are the only mines in the world which were in uninterrupted operation for over 1000 years.With its wealth of nearly 30 million tonnes of ore the Rammelsberg influenced the history and development of the town of Goslar. The mine has various tours availble.

Zwinger
One of Goslars four main town gates, the massive Zwinger Tower arrests the attention of those driving by. Up to 1000 people could find safety in its four storeys in case of siege. Today it houses a private Museum of the Late Middle Ages where armour and weapons for knights and musketeers, instruments of torture are on display.

Monchehaus Museum
The Monchehaus Museum is a renowned museum of Modern Art.
Works of artists of international acclaim, such as Joseph Beuys, Max Ernst, Georg Baselitz and Eduardo Chilida, are on display.
Every year the town of Goslar presents the internationally acclaimed art award, the "Kaiser Ring".

Music Instrument and Doll Musuem
In a 500 year old patrician mansion, five collections are displayed on four storeys. The Music Instrument Collection is unique in Germany. In the upper storey a collection of dolls, teddy bears and toys from 1835 through 1935 composes the Doll Museum. In the vaulted cellar a collection of porcelain figures entitled The Magic of feminine Grace can be viewed.
The Museum also houses two Guinness Book of Record displays.
