How to get there
Duderstadt is South from the Harz.
By Car
south / west:
If you come from south Germany, A7 direction Hannover, take the exit 72, direction Goettingen, Braunlage, Duderstadt, B27. Follow B27 for about 18 km (be aware of speed cameras, through towns is 50km/h), then take B446 direction Duderstadt, Ebergoetzen. This B Road will get you straight to Duderstadt (about 10km).
North
If you come the A7 you have 2 choices: Take exit 72 and then follow direction from the south or Take exit 67, Seesen, Osterode, follow B243 for about 17km, direction Osterode, Herzberg. In Herzberg turn left onto B27, after 2 km turn onto B247, all the way to Duderstadt.
East:
If you come from Leipzig take the new Motorway 38, which is great to drive. There is one section not finished yet, follow B80, this B road will connect the missing Motorway 38. Once on M38 again, take exit 6 direction B247 Worbis, Duderstadt. Follow signs for Duderstadt.
Train:
The nearest train station is Goettingen. From there you can catch a bus to Duderstadt, which takes about 60 minutes.
