There is no train station in braunlage.The nearest one is in bad Harzburg. You can catch a bus which takes about 30 minutes.

by Road:
braunlage is just off the b4, a new road which goes directly across the Harz and connects Nordhausen with Goslar.
Please be aware of the speed limits, as there are many speed cameras.
From north Follow A7 direction Kassel to exit 67, on to b243 direction Osterode, about 80 km, then take the b 242 to braunlage, braunlage is sign posted. b27 braunlage mitte.
If you come from the west (Netherlands) you need to get on to the A7, then direction Hannover. Take exit 72, braunlage, follow signs to braunlage on the b27about 67km.
From east (Leipzig) Take the new motorway A38 to exit Windehausen. Then on the b4 go about 40 km direction Nordhausen, braunlage. Take the exit to b27 direction braunlage mitte (center)
