The swimming centre is part of a large leisure complex that also has bowling, ice skating and wellness area located in the holiday and health resort of Bad Sachsa, nestled in the south Harz. The pool has wave pool, lazy river, 100 meter tube slide, and a well temperature children play area. |

Harzfalkenhof
The Harzfalkenhof is one of the finest falconries in Germany. You will see over 40 birds of prey including, Eagles, Ravens, Hawks and due to a very successful breeding programme the very rare Snow Vultures. Daily flying demonstrations during the summer months. |

Grenzlandmuseum
This museum located in Tettenborn displays numerous original exhibits which show the development of the inner German border in the southern Harz from 1945 to1989. See complete collection of medals and decorations from the former GDR state plus security documents. Learn about the ingenious and somewhat desperate ways people tried to escape such as the failed hot air balloon attempt. |
