By Train
Bad Lauterberg's trainstation is in the neighbor town of Barbis, which is about 20 minutes away by bus. From there you can reach major towns within Harz and Germany. Check out for routes and time tables:

By road:
From north A7 direction Kassel, exit 67, follow B243 to Osterode, then B27 to Bad Lauterberg
From south A7 direction Hannover, exit 72, direction Goettingen, take B27 Braunlage / Bad Lauterberg, about 47km on the B27
From east Take A38, which is a nice newly build motorway, until exit 10 Werther, follow direction Nordhausen, then 243 towards Osterode, follow for about 25 km, through Osterhagen (watch out for speed cameras)
After Osterhagen turn right and follow signs to Bad Lauterberg.

Nearest Airport is Hannover, about 90km away.
